IMPORTANT QUOTES

Most of these quotes come from established sources (you will have to Google them to discover their origins.). A few of these quotes I made up myself. Reflect on them and recognise that everything must be taken in context:

“Some see things as they are and say why. I dream things that never were and say why not.”

"In times of change, the Patriot is a scarce man; brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing."

"Common experience shows how much rarer is moral courage than physical bravery. A thousand men will march to the mouth of the cannon where one man will dare espouse an unpopular cause."

"You can ignore reality, but you cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality."

"A different world cannot be built by indifferent people.

"The price of apathy is to be ruled by evil men."

"Those who know the least obey the best."

“How fortunate for leaders that men do not think.” ~ Hitler

"A wise man will make more opportunities than he finds."

"Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is."

"Never accept the proposition that just because a solution satisfies a problem, that it must be the only solution."

"History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people."

"It is not necessary to bury the truth. It is sufficient merely to delay it until nobody cares."

"Speak the truth, even if your voice shakes."

"Never doubt that a small group of concerned citizens can change the whole world. It is the only thing that ever has."

"The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it"

"Don't be such a pessimist monster, you have to be an optimist monster."

"Who dares wins."

"If you don't read the paper you are uninformed. If you do read the paper you are misinformed."

"Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth."

"Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance."

"Men occasionally stumble on the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened."

"Conspiracy theorists, back in the day, were called Investigative Journalists and Researchers. You know, the people that found out what is actually going on. I take the meaning of "conspiracy theorists" as to be a person who believes powerful people, who have a lot of influence, use their power to gain more influence. It's pretty straight forward when you think about it like this....and if you ha...ve a look at the opposite side of the spectrum, what's the opposite of a "conspiracy theorist"? A "coincidence theorist" ? Somebody who thinks that eeeeeeeeeeverything happens by coincidence...Take both of these and put them side by side, conspiracy theorist vs. coincidence theorist, which one sounds more insane?"

"The greatest obstacle to discovering the shape of the earth, the continents and the ocean was not ignorance but the illusion of knowledge."

"In terms of discovering new things, don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Often new knowledge is challenging - coming from strange places or misplaced amongst quackery - and being at odds with some of the existing (not necessarily correct) paradigm. Please remember, it doesn't take very many people coming together and working together to make a massive difference.     Just think of scientific discoveries, technological breakthroughs, political movements ... organised people with imagination and knowledge can do all sorts of things, and then have millions 'take advantage' of their work. Unless they are put in jail or burnt at the stake, which tends to set back the agenda ... Don't give up or else there will be no change.
